I know I can download manually and specify the folder but it seems like there should be an easier way.

I have now uninstalled NMM and installed MO 1.3.3.My question is, how can I get Mods to download to the proper folder when I click on the Download using NMM link? I had been using 1,2,18 and it worked with that initially but now the screen just fades and locks.

Rather than wade through over 1000 pages of posts, I'm going to take a chance and ask my question after a cursory search failed to bring up a matching topic/post.I was using NMM but my grandson talked me into using Mod Organizer instead. Since I was new to using it, I figured it was due to how I had been using NMM and had set up my Skyrim files.I deleted everything, reinstaled Skyrim and MO 1.3.3 and came in here top find out something related to downloading Mods when I saw this.Now I'm concerned that it still won't work!. I was running MO 1.2.18 and had the same problem. Help?I wish I had read this sooner, it would have saved me a lot of grief. I've gone into the main skyrim folder and launched SKSE directly, and it loads fine, so it's not my skyrim/skse install.I'm using the 1.2.18 version of MO. I've rebooted my pc, reinstalled MO twice, virus scanner hasn't blocked any portion of MO. I changed profiles, to the 'default' that only has the primary skyrim esm and requisite(s) loaded, and have the same problem. It does the same thing with BodySlide, FNIS, Wrye, the Sort button on the plugin list the little window pops up that says 'LOOT working', but nothing happens, my load order doesn't change. Come back later, hit the SKSE button, MO flashes, and that's all. I was playing Skyrim, decided to take a break.

Is also a reply to the same post.I usually would run FNV4GB, but when I did that, the screen would be black for a few moments and then close to desktop instantly.
